Public Private Dialogue on Barriers to Investment and Investment Promotion in Myanmar’s Tourism and Healthcare Sectors
EuroCham Myanmar, supported by GIZ, hosted a “Public Private Dialogue Event on Barriers to Investment and Investment Promotion in Myanmar’s Tourism and Healthcare Sectors” at Rose Garden, on Thursday, 29 March 2018 for an all-day event.
On the occasion of publication of a Health Study and a Tourism Study conducted by the European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar with the GIZ support, European companies, Myanmar institutions, Myanmar government and consultants met to enable a constructive dialogue on investment barriers in Myanmar’s tourism and healthcare sectors and to create momentum for regulatory reform and cooperation between the public and private sectors to promote further investments.
This Public Private Dialogue started in a symposium style with presentations both related to Health and Tourism sectors, and then split in workshops sessions for each sector to produce concrete recommendations.
