An Afternoon on Responsible Business

With the long public holiday weekends drawing near, yesterday, on 29th August, EuroCham Myanmar, in collaboration with our member Sampan Travel Ltd, held an informative session focusing on travelling in the country, “𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐦𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐈”. The purpose of this event was to contribute the travel concepts and considerations for navigating certain regions during the present circumstances. The briefing highlighted the existing security and ethical aspects of travel companies’ operations. Additionally, the event aimed to provide recommendations for secure and rewarding travel experiences within the country that would also contribute to the local communities.

Bertie Alexander from Sampan Travel Ltd comprehensively addressed various aspects of travelling during these conditions. This included insights into suitable travel destinations, regions that should be avoided, and other important updates that travellers should bear in mind.

Sampan is organising different types of tours in the country. If you want to learn more about travel options that can enhance your understanding of Myanmar and support local, compliant tour operators, subscribe to their newsletter or email enquiries@sampantravel.com.
