As of 1st March 2024, the evidence of COVID 19 medical insurance is no longer a requirement. Travelers shall be subject to a thermal screening to be conducted by the respective airport, seaport and cross border POEs health authorities, upon arrival to Myanmar. The foreigners shall bear the cost of the testing, isolation and medical treatment procedures for medical conditions including COVID-19 during their stay in Myanmar and can purchase the health insurance from Myanma insurance.
