As of 22nd March, fully vaccinated travelers (with two doses of approved vaccines) coming to Myanmar with commercial flights only have to show vaccination records. If ones only have incomplete/partial vaccination status or no vaccination status, negative RT-PCR test result at within 48 hours before their arrival to Myanmar is required.
In this version, if foreigners can submit the purchase documentation of the health insurance including COVID-19 medical insurance from the relevant country or internationally recognized insurance companies they can exempt from purchasing health insurance from Myanma insurance. If they cannot present any relevant document, they shall purchase the COVID-19 medical insurance from Myanma insurance. Detailed information can be obtained at the Myanmar Insurance’s website.
