Following the release of the World Bank’s Myanmar Transport and Logistics Update in August 2026, EuroCham Myanmar is pleased to organise this briefing in collaboration with the World Bank Transport and Logistics team. Given the report’s focus on maritime and cross-border trade, foreign-exchange constraints, fuel prices, logistics costs, and related developments, we believe its findings are highly relevant to the challenges faced by our members and the wider European business community in Myanmar.
Through this briefing, our members will have the opportunity to hear directly from the World Bank team on the report’s key findings, better understand how current developments may affect the business environment, and raise questions and share perspectives on the practical challenges they are experiencing.
