The second session in our ongoing webinar series “Heightened Due Diligence Myanmar: Guidance for Business” is going to happen. This series, organised in cooperation with the Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business and the MADE in Myanmar project, aims to highlight Heightened Human Rights Due Diligence from various angles and provide guidance to international businesses operating in Myanmar to apply this in the local context.
For the second session, ‘Conducting Heightened Human Rights Due Diligence in Myanmar: Sharing Experience from Recent Human Rights Impact Assessments’, we invite representatives from different sectors to share their insights into their respective Due Diligence processes. On the 15th of November, we are joined by Ms Niseth Boerrigter, Country Manager at Maersk Myanmar, Mr Nicolas Delange, Founder and CEO YEVER, and Mr Martijn van Keulen, Country Manager at Heineken Myanmar, who are actively operating in their respective sectors in Myanmar and will touch upon the topic of how they conducted their assessment in terms of tracking and reporting, handling grievances.
