ZOOM Meeting
Organised as part of our ongoing discussion series on Heightened Human Rights Due Diligence (HHRDD), EuroCham Myanmar will host an online session to examine recent developments from the 114th International Labour Conference (ILC) regarding Myanmar—and what these mean for European businesses operating in or with the country. This session will be held exclusively for members of EuroCham Myanmar, under the Chatham House Rule, at 3 PM MMT (10:30 AM CET) on 2nd July.
In this session, Mr. Gary Rynhart, International Labour Organization (ILO)’s Senior Specialist for Employers’ Activities, and Ms. Vicky Bowman, Senior Advisor of the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB), will provide insights into the latest ILC developments, the practical implications for businesses, and the key considerations for your planning in coming months. EuroCham Myanmar will also summarise the key takeaways and outline its continuing support to members for their heightened due diligence efforts through a number of ongoing activities.
