On 24th October 2024, EuroCham Myanmar will host a hybrid briefing in collaboration with the World Bank, centered around the energy landscape in Myanmar. This event aims to bring together key stakeholders to discuss the challenges and opportunities within the energy sector. It will feature discussions from industry experts, including representatives from Smart Power Myanmar and Mandalay Yoma, alongside the World Bank.

With Myanmar’s energy sector at a critical juncture, this briefing seeks to address the pressing need for practical and sustainable energy solutions. By fostering collaboration between the private sector and international organizations, the event will offer an in-depth look at the energy industry’s outlook for the upcoming years. Participants will have an opportunity to exchange insights on advancing sustainable energy initiatives while addressing the challenges the sector faces in Myanmar.

This collaboration with the World Bank aims to enhance the dialogue, particularly regarding their expertise in the WB Energy Program. The event is designed to serve as an informative and collaborative platform, contributing to the development of a robust energy strategy for the private sector in Myanmar.
