The project Multi-Stakeholder Alliance for Decent Employment in the Myanmar apparel industry (MADE in Myanmar) has core funding from the European Union of 3 Million EUR over the period 13 December 2022 until 14 December 2026. MADE builds on the work of the previously successful SMART projects. In particular, MADE shall continue and upscale the SMART Factories Programme to cover a minimum of 200 factories with technical assessments, advisory support and access to workshops and remediation.
