This week, the Responsible Business Fund Plus (RBF Plus) was launched, an initiative supported by the Delegation of the European Union to Myanmar, the Embassy of Switzerland in Myanmar and the Embassy of Denmark.
RBF+ aims to empower micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across Myanmar’s agrifood value chain.
EuroCham Myanmar is looking forward to hosting representatives of the RBF+ on the 4th of September, to discuss with our members the subject of supply chain localization. We will discuss and the gaps that MNC’s identify in terms of local sourcing from Myanmar and how the RBF+, working with local MSME’s, can support to filling these gaps, thereby contributing to a resilient responsible local supply chain.
