Member Discussion on Agribusiness in Myanmar
On the 31st of August, EuroCham Myanmar welcomed a delegation from East-West Seed to our office. East-West Seed, a member of the chamber and our Agrobusiness Group since 2019, is producing and distributing high-quality vegetable seeds, which they supply to vegetable producers in Myanmar. The emphasis lies in producing resilient seeds, ensuring that farmers require less chemicals to let their crops grow.
During the meeting, the Chamber team and EWS discussed current market challenges, adversities faced by the farmers and the outlook for the future.
