EuroCham Myanmar’s Executive Director Meets with the EBO Worldwide Network in Brussels

EuroCham Myanmar Executive Director, Karina Ufert, attended the bi-annual EBO meeting in Brussels. EBO Worldwide Network brings together 47 European business organisations from non-EU countries to share practices and promote European business interests in third markets.

The meeting is also an opportunity to strengthen our relationships among the ASEAN EBOs community- EuroCham Singapore, EUROCHAM Malaysia, European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, EuroCham Laos, EABC Thailand, EuroCham Cambodia, EuroCham Indonesia, and EuroCham Vietnam. In 2023, EuroCham Myanmar plans face-to-face outreach events in ASEAN to connect with our current and new members. 

The event also highlights the specifics of continuing business operations in challenging contexts, such as Myanmar. During the meeting, Karina had a chance to share with other European chambers and EU officials the best practices of stakeholder management for advancing the responsible business agenda. 

Besides the EBO meeting, Karina participated in the Annual ASEAN-EU Business summit with the EU Council President Charles Michel and President of the Philippines, Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., among its headline speakers.
