The Legal & Tax Group To Host A Hybrid Briefing On Legal Updates And Implications

EuroCham Myanmar organised the insightful panel discussion hosted by our Legal and Tax group to update our members and other businesses on the practical implications of recent regulations, ranging from banking to beneficial ownership. Nearly 120 people joined this briefing in person and online on 8th February.

The panel discussed questions related to payments for trade and non-trade purposes in light of FATF “blacklisting”, requirements for cross-border payments for imports or capital repatriation, notification on beneficial ownership and others. The insights from the panel were practical and valuable for companies’ day-to-day business operations and risk management.

We want to extend our gratitude to our expert speakers on the panel for making this event possible – APFL & PARTNERSDFDL, and Luther Myanmar as well as a friend of the chamber – Chee Seng Liew, who shared with us their expertise and know-how. We expect our next briefing in early March – follow our LinkedIn channel for more announcements.
