De Heus Myanmar and EuroCham Discuss Opportunities and Sustainability in Agrobusiness Sector

On 15th August, a member of Agrobusiness Advocacy Group and GOLD Partner of the chamber, De Heus Myanmar Ltd, welcomed the EuroCham Myanmar team at their office. De Heus Myanmar, the leading supplier of animal nutrition solutions to customers nationwide, has been in the market since 2013, marking its 10th anniversary in just a few weeks. It supports tens of thousands of farmers and animal breeders through its various supply chain activities. 
 
During the meeting, the EuroCham team learned about the challenges and opportunities for the European feed company operating in Myanmar, including complying with changing regulations and fluctuating exchange rates. De Heus shared its commitment to supporting the domestic industry through fair purchasing practices, especially corn and other by-products. Promoting sustainability is at the core of De Heus’ business conduct, and we had a chance to exchange ideas for the upcoming EuroCham’s CSR initiative.
