Introduction to HR Survey & Ongoing HR Working Group Session

On 17th August 2023, EuroCham Myanmar hosted the 3rd HR Working Group session with the HR representatives of our members to continue the forum whereby HR professionals and those with HR responsibility of EuroCham members can come together to exchange ideas, learn, and connect and share up to date information.

During this meeting, EuroCham Myanmar shared the key findings from the HR Survey, which was recently conducted among our members in August, to determine the HR working group strategy and agenda. According to some findings from the survey, 91% of the respondents provide additional employee benefits in addition to those required by laws and regulations in terms of special allowances (38%), insurance (21%), bonuses (15%), others such as flexible working time, recreational events (15%), additional leaves (6%), and regular care package (5%). Following the discussion, the participants identified the key priorities and specific activities of the HR Working Group for the year to facilitate the challenging issues and advance the overall standard of HR practices in the country.

We thank all HR representatives of our member companies who joined both online and in-person and participated in this interactive working group discussion. This HR Working Group session will be held bi-monthly, bringing together HR professionals with specific activities and agendas to move forward. Stay tuned for more details driven by the EuroCham Myanmar HR Working Group.
