A Key Message to European Companies in Myanmar from EBO WWN Annual Meeting

Last week, EuroCham Myanmar CEO, Ms Karina Ufert is attending the European Business Organisation Worldwide Network (EBO WWN) annual meeting, which brings together 51 organizations representing European business interests in third markets.

The agenda for this meeting is packed with important discussions. It includes meetings with EU Commission officials, trade organizations, and internal discussions, all aimed at bolstering the European business footprint globally.

Some meetings took place in regional groups, including a session with Cabinet of VP Dombrovskis member Kevin Keary, who oversees trade relationships with ASEAN. Kevin’s message to European companies in Myanmar: keep doing the right thing, focus on improving labour conditions, and ensure heightened due diligence in their operations!
