EuroCham Myanmar welcomed Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD)
On 24 August, EuroCham Myanmar was pleased to welcome the Myanmar Institute of Directors (MIoD) team to our office for an engaging discussion on corporate governance, leadership development, and opportunities for future collaboration.
The meeting brought together Ko Thet Zaw Htwe, Chief Policy Officer; Mr. Adrien ALLAMAND, Chief Operating Officer; Ma Su Zin Zin Htet, Policy and Research Officer; Ma Theint Nandar Lwin, Event and Partnership Officer, from EuroCham Myanmar, alongside Ma May Thet Win, Chief Executive Officer; Ma Thin Myat Thu, General Manager; and Ma Su Tar Yar (Tara), Senior Program Officer, from MIoD.
During the meeting, we discussed possible areas of collaboration, including programmes that could support the development of leadership from mid-level to board level within organisations, while strengthening corporate governance and responsible business practices. We also exchanged ideas on corporate governance values, responsible business practices, and ways to bring these values together through future initiatives.
