Business Confidence Survey Results Underscores the Importance of Stable Internet Connectivity
The results of the 18th Business Confidence Survey by the European Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (EuroCham Myanmar) once again highlighted the critical importance of uninterrupted internet access for European businesses operating in Myanmar: nearly 70% of the respondents identified supportive infrastructure, including robust communication networks, as vital for maintaining a stable business operating environment, especially for e-commerce businesses and digital platform service providers, to contribute to building a strong and resilient economy.
Consistent and reliable connectivity is essential to responsible business conduct and for the well-being of our employees and the communities we serve by enabling the continuous provision of livelihoods, essential services, and transparent communication. We therefore urge all stakeholders to ensure the preservation of open and reliable digital infrastructure to safeguard both economic stability and the further development of Myanmar.
